WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR...
Ideal for those that wish to pursue a career within the commercial aviation industry.
The Commercial Pilot Licence training makes up the first part of the Airline Transport Pilot Licence.
Allowing you to work areas such as Flight Instructing, Charter Pilot or Agricultural Pilot for example.
WHAT'S INVOLVED...
AIRCRAFT

General Aviation registered aircraft (GA) - Cessna 172R

LEARNING OUTCOME

Successful completion of the Commercial Pilot Licence and hours built as pilot-in-command

allows holders to be employed as a professional pilot.

COURSE DURATION

Full time: 12 Months

Part time: 24 Months

FLIGHT TRAINING

  • Complete a non-integrated training course.

  • 1 flight test with a CASA approved Testing Officer

THEORY

Complete 7 CPL exams:

  • Human Factors;

  • Navigation;

  • Meteorology;

  • Aerodynamics (Aeroplane)

  • Flight Rules & Air Law;

  • Operation, Performance & Flight Planning;

  • Aircraft General Knowledge.

COST

Pay-as-you-fly cost:

$365 / hour - C172R - private

$385 / hour - C172R - dual
