WHAT'S INVOLVED...
AIRCRAFT
Recreational Aviation registered Aircraft (RA-Aus) - Tecnam.

General Aviation registered aircraft (GA) - Cessna 172 R
COURSE DURATION
Full time: 2 - 3 Months
Part time: 6 - 12 Months

LEARNING OUTCOMES
Successful completion of the Recreational Pilot Licence allows holders to fly anywhere in Australia outside controlled airspace in daylight hours with one passenger on board.
FLIGHT TRAINING

Complete between 25-35 hours (minimum) of flight training.

Including 5 hours of supervised solo flights.

1 flight test with a CASA approved Testing Officer
THEORY EXAMS
Complete 4 in-house exams:

Basic Aeronautical Knowledge (BAK);

Air Legislation;
-
Flight Radio;
-
Human Factors.
COST
Pay-as-you-fly cost in the Tecnam: $265 / hour - dual
(plus landing charges)
Pay-as-you-fly cost in the Cessna 172: $385 / hour - dual
(plus landing charges)
